for this education to be effective, teachers should be educated in technology so that the students are given the opportunity to make good use of such blessing. The fact that teachers are starting to know more about how to integrate technology into the classroom, makes it more facilitated for students themselves to get ahead.
In public schools teachers have started to take intensive courses on how to integrate technology into their instructions, but there's a gap that should be filled. How can teachers learn about technology when there's no means for application? and how will they store the information they learn in these courses without real life application?
Of course technology is and important feature that is integrated in our daily life and into our educational systems, and it is very important that teachers know how to deal with technology and use it to benefit from it fully and teach students how to benefit from it. But you're totally right that it is not only important to say that we must integrate technology in our schools and start basing our lessons on that, but what is important is to provide the means to support the use of technology and implement it in our systems.

Like any other thing, integrating technology in schools needs to be practiced not only by saying you have to integrate technology in your classroom and that's it. But the schools should provide the needed materials for integrating technology in classrooms and every thing should be available and used in a helpful and effective way.
ReplyDeleteThere needs to be real life application to ensure transferability, and teachers must not be excluded from this sector of learning because after all a teacher is a student and is continuously learning from the surroundings around him, and even from the students themselves, this is why there must be enough room for teachers to practice using technology so that they have knowledge that is updated to match the level of knowledge that the students have.
